How can somebody NOT like National Ice Cream Day? Especially if the ice cream is FREE!!!! Union Market held the third annual "The DC Scoop" this past Sunday and it was a great event! So family friendly, and of course Ava making new friends everywhere we turned! There was even an ice cream vendor that was using liquid nitrogen at their booth! Seemed like I was on a Food Network competition show because everyone was bringing their "a-game"! That was fine with me, because we got to try some really tasty ice cream! There was entertainment and demonstrations too, very fun! Read on in my article to see what you missed, until next year at least!
